Tyler the Creator who is a famous rapper, singer, songwriter, record
producer, actor, and more,
has decided to hold a charity concert in the town he grew up in, Ladera
Heights which is in California.
All the proceedings from this concert will be donated to
Feeding America, which is nonprofit network
of 200 food banks leading the fight against hunger in the United States.
In an interview over the weekend,
Tyler has stated,
I grew up in Ladera Heights and my family was so hardworking, but at
times we did not have
enough food to feed the entire family. I want to help make a difference
and raise more awareness for families
who are umable to get food at some points. It is nothing to be ashamed
or embarrassed of as I have been there
myself. Everything I earn at this Feeding America concert, will go to
helping fight against hunger.
Tyler plans on singing some songs from his Igor album but also
plans on focusing on his new,
Call Me If You Get Lost album that was just released earlier in
the year. He also plans on having some of his features
from the Call Me If You Get Lost show up as guest appearances.
He states,I definitely
want Brent coming out here for this, but as for the rest ya'll will have
to wait to find out.
